Mark Lemley Presents Empirical Studies in Intellectual Property Conference

The University of San Diego's Center for Intellectual Property Law & Markets presented the Empirical Studies In Intellectual Property Conference.  Mark Lemley presented his paper, "Do Applicant Patent Citations Matter."  Mark and his co-authors, Christopher Anthony Cotropia and Bhaven N. Sampat, explore the relevance of applicant-submitted prior art on patent applications, and find it is largely ignored by the Patent and Trademark Office. Please click here for more information.
