Daralyn Named Among Top 75 Women Litigators for 2012

Durie Tangri is proud to announce that partner Daralyn Durie was named among the Top 75 Women Litigators for 2012 by the Daily Journal. The list features women lawyers whose “work is having a broad impact on the legal community and society at large.” Daralyn was singled out for her work on behalf of Yelp! and several other defendants in persuading U.S. District Judge William Alsup to invalidate a patent on personalizing Internet content. The Daily Journal also noted Daralyn’s successful defense of Guidewire Software against a patent infringement conplaint filed by consulting company Accenture plc.

The Daily Journal is the largest legal newspaper in Northern California. A special issue featuring Daralyn and the other recipients of the award was published on May 9, 2012. This is the third year in a row that Daralyn has been a recipient of this award.
