Tim joined Durie Tangri after clerking for Justice Monica M. Márquez of the Colorado Supreme Court. He received his J.D. from the U.C. Berkeley School of Law, where he served as an editor for the California Law Review, worked as a teaching assistant for legal writing courses, and was selected for the Order of the Coif. During law school, Tim also served as an extern for Chief Magistrate Judge Joseph C. Spero of the Northern District of California.
Before entering the legal world, Tim’s career centered on biology; he received his Master’s degree in biology from Wesleyan University, co-authored several papers on evolutionary ecology, and worked as a geospatial analyst for a biological consulting firm.
Outside work, Tim enjoys running, cooking spicy foods, and traveling and camping with his wife and dog.
