Tara J. Norris

Tara started her career as an associate at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler. There, she worked on complex civil and criminal disputes, including a five-week civil forfeiture trial in the Southern District of New York.

Tara graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, where she was a member of the Board of Student Advisors, co-chair of the Mississippi Delta Project, and the Executive Policy Editor of the Harvard Law and Policy Review. She also worked as a research assistant for professors exploring constitutional law and federal courts issues. After law school, Tara clerked for the Honorable Paul G. Gardephe at the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and for the Honorable Susan L. Carney at the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

In her free time, Tara enjoys scouting local coffee shops and taking long road trips.
