Peter joined Durie Tangri after clerking for the Honorable Patty Shwartz, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Previously, he was an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP (New York). There he represented clients in litigation and international arbitration, including in a prosecution by the New York State Attorney General and an international dispute concerning a telecommunications joint venture. Peter also was a member of the pro bono team that successfully represented death-row prisoner Bobby Moore before the United States Supreme Court, Moore v. Texas, 137 S. Ct. 1039 (2017).
He received his J.D. from New York University School of Law. Peter was Editor-in-Chief of the NYU Journal of Law & Business and was awarded the Vanderbilt Medal for Outstanding Contributions to the School of Law and the Flora S. and Jacob Newman Prize for Outstanding Contributions to the Journal of Law & Business. Before attending NYU, Peter was a road cyclist and raced professionally in Europe and the United States.
