Corey has experience in all aspects of trial strategy and preparation — including in the class action and multi-district context. He has worked on teams that have tried cases in New York, Louisiana, Mississippi, and California. Corey’s substantive experience runs the gamut, and includes antitrust, products liability, environmental law, securities law, and contract disputes. 

Corey is also the Founder and Chair of “The Associates’ Committee” — a nationwide network of attorneys who pool funds to create grants for legal aid organizations and impact litigation non-profits.  The Associates’ Committee’s work has been profiled in The American Lawyer, Bloomberg, and Above The Law, among other publications. 

Prior to joining Durie Tangri, Corey practiced at the litigation boutique Wilkinson Walsh + Eskovitz as well as the international law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. He also served as a law clerk to the Hornorable John J. Tuchi of the United States District Court for the District of Arizona. Corey earned his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where he won the American Jurisprudence Award for Written and Oral Advocacy. 

Prior to law school, Corey was a Fulbright Scholar in Lima, Peru. He also worked briefly for the Mayor of Washington, D.C.
