Durie Tangri Prevails in the Federal Circuit
June 8, 2012
Durie Tangri defended Paciolan and its former parent company Ticketmaster against patent litigation brought by competitor Flash Seats. The asserted patent claimed an electronic marketplace and ticketless access mechanism. After a favorable claim construction, the DT team won summary judgment of noninfringement (as to all claims) and invalidity (as to claims 1-5). Flash Seats appealed to the Federal Circuit where Durie Tangri prevailed again – via a summary affirmation issued two days after oral argument. Click here to see the Court’s Order.
