Daralyn Wins CLAY Award

Mar 12, 2015

California Lawyer Magazine gives Daralyn its award for Attorney of the Year in the intellectual property category.  Daralyn wins this award specifically for her work, and groundbreaking copyright ruling, in the Google Books case.  Defeating eight years of litigation brought by the Authors Guild, Daralyn successfully argued that Google’s digitizing project qualified as fair use.   For 19 straight years, California Lawyer has selected attorneys who have had significant impact in the previous year for the honor.  See the full list of winners by category here.
