Genevieve's experience with the Internet and technology ranges from electronic privacy to copyright to competition and consumer protection.  Genevieve began her career as a trial attorney in the Honors Program of the U.S. Department of Justice's Antitrust Division, Telecommunications and Media Section, where she gained intimate knowledge of the telecom industry, broadband infrastructure, and cellular network technologies.

Genevieve graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland, with High Honors in Government and Politics.  She attended law school at UC Berkeley (Boalt Hall), where she was a member of the Berkeley Journal of Law and Technology. She spent three semesters with Boalt's Samuelson Law, Technology and Public Policy Clinic where she advised the Chilean government on domestic and international copyright issues.

Prior to joining Durie Tangri, Genevieve clerked for the Honorable A. Howard Matz in the Central District of California.

Genevieve spends her free time enjoying the San Francisco bluegrass music scene and experimenting in the kitchen with ingredients from the Bay Area's abundant farmer's markets.
